Lakshmir Bhandar is a flagship basic income support scheme for female heads of families in West Bengal. It empowers women by transferring Rs. 1,000 per month (for General/OBC categories) and Rs. 1,200 per month (for SC/ST categories) directly into their single bank accounts.

Eligibility Criteria

Female residents of WB aged 25-60 years. Must possess a Swasthya Sathi card and Aadhaar card. The applicant must NOT be a permanent employee of the Government, PSU, or receiving a regular government pension.

Required Documents

• Swasthya Sathi Card
• Aadhaar Card
• SC/ST Certificate (if applying for Rs 1200)
• Single Bank Account Passbook
• Passport Size Photo

Application Process

1. The scheme exclusively accepts applications during the Duare Sarkar outreach camps.

2. Collect the unique form (barcoded) from the camp.

3. Fill and submit with self-attested documents.

4. Receive the acknowledgment slip and track status online.
