Common Service Centres (CSCs) are the access points for the delivery of essential public utility services, social welfare schemes, healthcare, financial, education, and agriculture services, apart from host of B2C services to citizens in rural and remote areas of the country. They act as the front-end delivery points for Digital India.
Eligibility Criteria
Any citizen can visit a CSC to avail services. To open a CSC, a person must be a Village Level Entrepreneur (VLE), aged 18+, with 10th pass qualification and basic computer knowledge.
Required Documents
- To avail services: Depends on the service (usually Aadhaar).
- To open CSC: Aadhaar, PAN, Bank Cancelled Cheque, TEC Certificate, Passport Photo.

Application Process
For citizens: Locate your nearest CSC via the locator on the portal and walk in. For entrepreneurs: Complete the TEC (Telecentre Entrepreneur Course), clear the exam, and register on register.csc.gov.in.
