Krishak Bandhu (Natun) provides financial assistance to farmers for agricultural purposes. Farmers with 1 acre or more land receive Rs. 10,000 per year (in two installments). Those with less land receive a pro-rata amount (minimum Rs. 4,000). It also includes a life insurance cover of Rs. 2 Lakh for farmers aged 18-60 in case of death.

Eligibility Criteria

All farmers and recorded bargadars (sharecroppers) in West Bengal. There is no cap on landholding size. The applicant must have a valid RoR (Parcha) or Forest Rights Act (Patta).

  • Aadhaar Card (Mandatory)
  • Voter ID (EPIC)
  • Bank Passbook (Front page showing IFSC)
  • Passport Size Photo

Application Process

1. Collect the Krishak Bandhu application form from the ADA (Assistant Director of Agriculture) office or Duare Sarkar camp.

2. Fill the form and attach documents.

3. Submit at the camp/office.

4. Track payment status online on the official portal using Voter ID.
