An initiative under the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM), the ABHA card assigns a unique 14-digit number to citizens. It allows users to safely link, store, and share their medical records (prescriptions, lab reports, discharge summaries) digitally with doctors and hospitals, eliminating the need for physical files.
Eligibility Criteria
Any citizen of India can voluntarily create an ABHA number and address.

- Aadhaar Card (linked to a mobile number for OTP authentication)
