The Karmasathi Prakalpa (often associated with Yuva Shakti/Bhorsa) is a flagship initiative of the West Bengal Government to provide financial assistance and subsidies to unemployed youth. It aims to foster entrepreneurship by providing soft loans and subsidies through state co-operative banks to help youths start manufacturing, services, or trading businesses.
Eligibility Criteria
Unemployed youth of West Bengal aged between 18 and 50 years. Minimum educational qualification is Class VIII or X pass depending on the specific project size. The applicant must be a resident of West Bengal for at least 10 years.

Application Process
1. Visit the Yubasathi portal (yubasathi.wb.gov.in).
2. Register as a job seeker or entrepreneur.
3. Fill out the application form with project details.
4. Submit the DPR and KYC documents.
5. The application is reviewed by the Block Development Officer (BDO) or SDO before bank sanction.
