Banglar Bari (aligned with PMAY and state housing initiatives) provides financial assistance to economically weaker sections (EWS) and lower-income groups in both urban and rural areas to construct their own pucca houses, ensuring ‘Housing for All’.
Eligibility Criteria
Families without a pucca house in their name anywhere in India. Must meet the socio-economic criteria (SECC data or state-defined poverty lines). Land ownership in the applicant’s name is usually required.

Application Process
1. Applications are generally invited during specific phases through Gram Panchayats or Municipalities.
2. Submit the required form and land documents to the local authority.
3. A physical survey and geo-tagging of the land is conducted.
4. Funds are released in installments based on construction progress.
