Overview & Benefits

The GoWB provides various social security pensions: Old Age Pension for seniors, Bidhowa Bhata for widows, and Manabik Prakalpa for specially-abled persons. Beneficiaries receive a direct benefit transfer of Rs. 1000 per month into their bank accounts to ensure basic financial security.

Eligibility Criteria

Old Age: 60+ years. Widow: 18+ years widows. Manabik: 40%+ disability. Must be a resident of WB for at least 10 years, and not receiving any other government pension.

Required Documents

  • Aadhaar Card
  • Voter ID (EPIC)
  • Income Certificate
  • Bank Passbook
  • Disability Certificate (for Manabik)

Application Process

1. Obtain the combined pension application form from BDO/SDO or Duare Sarkar camp.

2. Fill the form and attach self-attested documents.

3. Submit it at the Block office or Duare Sarkar camp.

4. Track application status online on the Samarth portal.
