Yuvashree is a flagship financial assistance scheme by the Labour Department, GoWB. It provides Rs. 1,500 per month as unemployment assistance to registered youth to help them maintain their livelihood and upgrade their skills while seeking employment.
Eligibility Criteria
Unemployed youth aged 18-45 years, registered with the Employment Bank for at least 1 year. Minimum education: 8th standard pass. Only one member per family is eligible. Must not receive other state/central financial assistance.

Application Process
1. Register on the Employment Bank WB portal.
2. When selected (based on quota), you will be notified to submit Annexure I (application) and Annexure II (unemployment declaration).
3. Submit the validated forms to the local SDO/Employment Exchange.
4. Submit Annexure III every 6 months to continue receiving the grant.
